Escaping Christianity ~ Finding Christ and
Musings From an Ex Christian Fundamentalist

Healing comes in layers, and at the deepest layer, we can see that sometimes painful memories shape our present reality. Sort of like the Princess and the Pea story – she felt the pain of a small pea so far beneath the layers of her mattresses that it affected her rest.
We are the same. We keep things so far buried beneath the layers of our consciousness that sometimes it takes the removal of all of the coverings to discover the pea.
In the fairy tale, the prince is searching for his beloved, and only a true princess can feel the pain beneath the mattresses she lay upon. The prince rejoices when he finds a princess who can feel the buried pain, and so they are married.
I am learning that pain is there for a reason, and that to navigate through life and relationships, we must not add another layer of mattress to our bed, but rather, our pain is a qualification for AWAKENING AND UNION.
Looking at this as the patterns play out between men and women, try to see this pattern through the eyes of masculine and feminine energy. The masculine needs the sensitivity of the feminine, but in male and female relationships, often women are dismissed as “too emotional” but in reality, he needs her.
Much in the same way, the feminine needs the masculine to be complete as it provides the elements of logic and structure that matter will eventually congeal upon.
Masculine needs feminine to be complete. The creation and movement of emotional current serves as the currency to create reality. In other words, it is through the creation and distribution of emotional currency that reality is created.
Our emotional current is currency that we "pay"(offer) in order that reality manifests. Now for the good stuff: We learn through the things that we suffer. Emotional pain serves as an alarm clock to awaken us to the reality that what we focus upon, we create.
Creative energy utilizes the frequency from all of our emotions. We need a full palette - every color/hue and frequency matters from our very human experiences.
However, as we awaken and become conscious of the creative process (focused thought and emotion), the gap of time that exists between our thoughtful focus and its ultimate manifestation is diminishing.
We now know that what we thoughtfully focus on, providing the emotional current through the memory of our experiences, we create.
Now the task of the feminine is to focus upon union with masculine energy so that the environment for conscious creation manifests. We now know that we must not cover over or even do away with emotional pain, but it must find its place in the creative process. Let us recognize that pain has served to awaken this restless princess to union, and let the masculine truly appreciate what this bride’s dowry is! The ability to feel and to feel DEEPLY.
*Keep in mind that masculine and feminine is within all. Our male/female relationships serve us to see the unseen patterns within all.
Worth repeating, creative energy utilizes the frequency from all of our emotions. We need a full palette - every color/hue/frequency matters from our very human experiences.
