The Power of Walking, Cold Showers and HIIT




Do you have pain of any kind? Physical pain, emotional pain, relationship pain, even financial pain? How about mental pain? Are you so stressed it hurts to think? Well do this… Go for a long walk, and do NOT take your cell phone! Just walk. Nothing is more healing than walking every day at least 20 minutes each time. It helps clear your mind, helps relax your nerves, helps relieve stress, it releases feel good hormones, and helps start things moving inside your body. When you sit too much, things inside you start stagnating. Walking helps circulation, it helps move the lymph in your body, helps clear toxins out of you, helps lubricate and heal your joints, helps get oxygen throughout your body, helps you go to the bathroom and get rid of constipation, it helps clear headaches, it really helps boost your immune system, it helps get blood to injured body parts, and it helps you step away from your problems and see things from a new different outside perspective. Problems don’t seem as bad anymore. Your spirit renews and you feel like you’ve been given a new chance at life. New ideas come to you, new ways to solve your problems, and after a while, you’ll find you’ll have a renewed spring in your step. As you look around, you’ll realize you’re moving forward, and that directly carries over to everything else in your life moving forward. Try and get some sun on your face and arms as you walk for that vitamin D and K and iron. Now that’s part one.
The moment you get done with your walk, go take a shower. Start with your regular warm water, but then make it totally ice cold. Turn around while the ice cold water hits you all over. Then make the water hot. Ahhh doesn’t that feel good. All right, now that you’re warmed up, make it ice cold again, and let the ice cold water hit you for as long as you can, at least 20 seconds. Go ahead, scream if you want or sing really loud. After 20 seconds, make it hot again. Fell how that nice hot water relaxes you. Then make it ice cold again for 20 seconds. Then hot, then cold, …do this 7 times and end on cold. This is important. You must end on cold. Then get out, dry off and put some nice comfortable cloths on. You will be amazed how you feel afterwards. Do not skip the shower and do not skip the ending in cold. After a while, you’ll be ready for the more advanced level. Instead of just walking, run as fast as you possibly can for 20 seconds, like your life depends on it and you’re totally winded and huffing and puffing, holding your sides in pain. Continue walking for a minute until you’re normal again. Then run like hell again as fast as you possibly can for another 20 seconds- run like a bear is chasing you. Then relax and just walk until you can catch your breath again. Do this for at least 4 or 5 times until you just can’t run anymore. Then immediately go take an ice cold shower. No warm or hot water this time. The entire shower must be cold. Don’t complain. Just do it. You’ll thank me later. Then dry off and put some nice comfortable clothes on and start your day. You will feel so good, it will be the best high you’ve ever felt. You will feel totally relaxed yet fully alive. You’ll feel like you’re floating through the air. Your mood will be elevated and you’ll see life in a new way. Problems won’t bother you as much anymore. Your body’s aches and pains will be dramatically lessened or even totally gone.

The running really fast and then walking and then running really fast and then walking is called HIIT …High Intensity Interval Training. Look it up. This is the new discovery that’s changing the health world. And the ice cold shower, the combination of those two things create and amazing life changing result. You can literally feel your wounds healing, physically, mentally and emotionally. Do this every day and you can handle just about anything. You’ll be amazed how much better your mood is and how many new ideas will flood your mind and new possibilities you will see in life. Your priorities will start changing. Because you survived and ice cold shower, you will feel stronger and more confident. You’ll feel strangely calm and relaxed, yet full of life. You’ll sleep better, and be a much nicer healthier more productive person al around. if you have low energy, feel run down, and want to free yourself from depression, do this. I guarantee you, you will feel a difference. If you want to heal your life, lose your pain and finally be fully alive again, then do this. Don’t cheat, do the cold shower no matter what! Just do it and watch how you feel afterwards.
